Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you allot of knowledge about how the health care industry affects employees and patients due to technology always making the health care cost go up.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned allot about how older people are developing chronic illnesses and they are requiring more care. It also went  over how young adults have limited insurance coverage. I found both of those two points to be very important. As we look around at the older population you see that a lot of them are very sickly some have insurance and can receive the proper care and some don't. Young adults seem to be healthy so they are going without insurance. Over the last couple years it has been a requirement to get insurance benefits in some way so it is starting to seem that since you have to get insurance more people are trying to stay up on health visits.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you always take notes and read all the material that is provided. Making sure you always participate in the team assignments is also very important. Doing the team assignments does require you to sign into the class daily. Make sure you are always talking to your team and making sure that you know when the team leader wants their team members assignments turned in so, they can review them and edit if needed.
