    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

A tough course, but if you want to be an effective teacher, you must be thorough and diligent. this course prepares you for writing lesson plans in secondary education. The requirements for being a teacher, in my case, in California, are complex, but I am being trained to educate the future leaders of tomorrow. Training should be thorough and detailed.

    Course highlights:

Lesson plans are crucial, and hence, the word "plan" should actually be first. I learned to make sure i had everything accounted for in each assignment. Details are very important in this class. Time management is important for everyone, but a teacher needs to manage their time so that they can have the calmness to teach. Being organized and prepared will enable success.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Plan your time, there is a lot of writing. Make sure you go over your work several times before submitting. Info goes to the State. You must score 3 or higher when submitting your work to the State, and if you do not pass the first time, you get one chance to resubmit. If you fail to score a 3 or higher on your second submission, you will be referred to mediation. Make sure you write detailed, in-depth, thorough explanations for everything. Did I mention detailed? I cannot emphasize this enough, for each question, your answer should be 2,000 words or more, and there are 20 questions.
