    This course provides information on population and public health. You can learn what is going on around you and how it influences are economic state.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a perspective about public health concerns on a global spectrum.

    Always read your textbook. There is so much information in there that can help you with this course.

    Course Overview:

    This course was very interesting and very relevant in health care today. You will learn what we are facing today in population health as well as what is in store for the future.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the hot topics in population health and what steps can be taken in the community and at an organizational level to tackle the issues. I also learned how the government is involved in population health.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay up on the reading or you will fall behind. Working together as a team is always important and there are several weeks where there is a group project required.
