Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it pushes you to delve into the research process of being a psychologist and the determination needed. It also fortifies the ethical commitment that you MUST have when you start dealing with patients.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me from this course was going through step by step of the research process. I had an idea of what was required, but this pushes you to understand the countless hours and long process psychologist go through to make sure accurate information is being recorded. Another major highlight was the ethical commitment that you are sworn by once you decide to become a psychologist. We discussed the American Psychology Association Ethical Principles and the importance of upholding those principles. Gaining trust from the patience and making sure they are being treated fairly is key.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering this course is to make sure that you participate in the discussions. The professor asks questions throughout the week that makes you do research and gain further knowledge on a topic. Also by participating you get insight into your other fellow students who are on this journey with you.
