    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Coming into this class I was overwhelmed and did not think I would like it due to the assignments. Within the 5 weeks of the class the assignment was to build an essay about your family, which I was nervous about. Going into the second week I realized how easy it was and grew to like it even more. After the class I had a great grade and was over all proud of myself. This class was wonderful and the instructor was very nice and welcoming. She understood when I was sick and allowed me to make up some work and whenever I needed help she was there for me.

    Course highlights:

During this class I learned a lot about families and have the structure has changed over time. After this class I gained a knowledge of how the viewpoint of families has changed, things that impacted families, how gender roles in families has changed over years, how marriage is classified as a symbol, stresses of working parents, and much more dealing with families and how things have changed in them over the years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get to know your family history and learn your ancestors.
