Course Overview:
This class was great for getting students prepared for future math classes. It recapped things you may have learned in high school, or introduced you to things you may not have. The instructor was really involved and available throughout each week.
Course highlights:
I have never been good at even basic math, but this class showed me that I could do it! The best part was all of the practice and help that was available to understand the material. I was really intimidated going into the class but feel extremely confident now!

Advice for students:
Participate and actually complete the practice material! It makes the quizzes and final exam so much easier. The live tutoring helps a lot, so look into that also.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Algebra is tough, but this course gives you a great opportunity to learn and practice math. You will learn more about equations and develop your algebra skills!
Course highlights:
This course goes over writing, solving, and graphing linear equations, including systems of two linear equations. This class also teaches the study of monomial and polynomial expressions, inequalities, exponents, functions, rational expressions, ratio, and proportion.

Study. Study. Study. Take advantage of the center for mathematics and don't be afraid to ask questions. Tutors here at course hero are very helpful.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Not taking a math course for over a decade, I can say my excitement was well contained. After my first week I can actually say that I knew why I lived math before. This class was nothing short of fantastic.
Course highlights:
I actually enjoyed re-learning all the algebra equations that I learned long ago. I learned the functions of algebraic expressions, linear equations, graphing those equations and exponents.

Take this course with Ceal Craig. She is great and exactly what an instructor should be. She was very attentive and attended to my needs in a very timely manner. She gave advice and help almost immediately.
