Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes, I would recommend Professor Back because he has a way of reaching out to his students and getting them to engage in the class discussions. Professor Back's course is one you look forward to going to because he is a fun professor, who does his job extremely well.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge about communication after taking his course. He lectured and started discussions with focuses on non-verbal cues, formal speeches, relationships, and social norms. He gave assignments that made us step out our comfort zone, but provided an environment that made it easy to do so.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Back is a fun and understanding professor, but that does not mean you do not have to do work. In order to succeed in his course like, most courses you have to put the work in. Passing the course must be a priority to you because his assignments are time consuming and they cannot be rushed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professors understand that students may be apprehensive about public speaking and ease you into it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that planning a speech is much more involved and detailed than simple throwing some words on notecards and reading them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is required for most degrees/programs, so take it as soon as possible. Do all pieces of the work that are due, as the points add up and skipping just an outline or worksheet can result in major points lost. Also, the textbook is used heavily, do not go without it.
