Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides you with the knowledge necessary to be able to communicate more effectively to others to gain an advantage in today's society.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you will learn how long a presentation should be. What are the specific tonalities that should be developed in your speech. And how you can to effectively present yourself in a way that makes you stand out and succeed. You will be given assignments that are speech related. In this course, I have learned what it takes to be more persuasive, when to give eye contact, and how to position yourself to dominate any situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay focused at all times. This course requires constant attention to what the professor is saying and taking notes will be required. You will have fellow classmates in the room to help you if you have a question and the professor is available as well. Also, attendance is a major key in whether or not you will succeed in the course. This course requires that you be present every class. Furthermore, this class is enjoyable to all for people who put in the effort.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was ultimately based upon the professor's liking, or so I felt. I did not really enjoy this course, however it was an "easy A". Most people I've spoken to had different requirements in most of the classes, because of this I did not feel like I learned too much.

    Course highlights:

This course taught how to get up in front of crowds - or the size of the class - and talk about anything. Personally, this class helped me find my unique speech style. Since we practiced giving speeches so much in this class, I eventually was able to give a 10 minute speech without stuttering, or turning beat red.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a pre-requisite course so it has to be taken eventually. It isn't that bad. My advice is to just get the speeches over with - be the first one to go when the professor asks if there's any volunteers. Nobody will remember if you mess up, and if you do, Congratulations! You have something to laugh about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an amazing course. I was taught to rely on myself o get the information that I needed to succeed in the class

    Course highlights:

I learned that different cultures react differently to habits that we view as a formality.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to give a lot of speeches. If you are an introvert this class will be a little tough
