Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For this class, You experience a different environment than your own, more so you discover, being imaginative, what it is like to live alongside other cultures through readings, videos, and group projects that allow you to delve deep into cultures you would not normal think about on the daily basis.

    Course highlights:

Group projects were very great as each individual group shared something from different cultures, whether it be from the culture they had come from or if it were a culture they had done research on. School trips were also very interesting and enlightening as my class toured through China Town to experience the Asian cuisine and the commodities the Asian people had to offer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you must be open to many new ideas and should leave your biases at home. for this course you must push your opinionated beliefs to the side to understand other people and their point of view. Do not take this as reason not to debate because that is always a strong way to get your point across. Just remain respectful, and do your best to be understanding.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great class that helped me relate more to other cultures, as well as being more familiar with my own cultural identity.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about other cultures by talking to the international students. I learned a lot about how people live differently than we do more by conversing with a person and being able to relate that way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take time to read the material and really understand it. It makes the course come a lot easier and the information will help you in your daily life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Intercultural Communication because of the interesting course outline. You learn about so many other different cultures around the world and right here in the U.S. It makes me appreciate all the variety that there is to offer.

    Course highlights:

The highlights and learning experience that I've had is awesome. All of the different cultures around the world makes me appreciate them so much more. If we didn't have culture, we would all be the same people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep up with the readings and homework! Even the papers that only happen once in a while. Everything you need to know is in the reading and notes for the tests.
