Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor makes sure you succeed on class. He will focus on the specific material you should be studying for the tests.Study hard and you will be good for the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how the human body works and the many problems it could surface if your body is not responding anymore. The human body how it works it is amazing and learning how it is described in other professional words make you feel close to understand it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As a student you need to pay attention to the professor for better understanding of the course. If recording him/her will help you memorize then do so with the permission from the professor.Try to study since the beginning because it could overwhelmed you especially when studying lecture and lab almost at the same time.Plan ahead of your time and study lecture first and take pictures of modules to study at home.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because when you have a Professor that uses everyday life experiences to cause you to reflect and think about how it applies to you, you have a better chance of passing the course with an understanding and not just getting by. The ability to make herself unavailable to you and focuses on how you learn and apply this technique to help you better understand the difference from muscle and bone or veins from arteries. Makes a difference.

    Course highlights:

The major anatomy and physiology of human makeup. What it takes to make a body function and the pros and cons of homeostasis and it's importance. Quiz taking techniques as well, lab exams which seem to go very quickly. Taking pieces and putting it together as a puzzle to understand what makes a body work. I learned that in order to understand biology you must first understand how every part plays a part in order for all parts to work. But, you must start from the beginning and pay close attention. The highlight were the lab exams where you only have 1 minute to see a part/parts on models and name it and what applies to it.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You must study, review and review again If you don't understand ask for help don't be embarrassed Especially if you have been out of school for over 20 years your starting fresh so what may seem simply is not. Use the learning centers and support systems that are in place to your advantage and get a good study group going it pays off at the end.
