    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a simple, yet effective course. Some aspects were brief repeats from previous English courses I took, but the information was valuable.

    Course highlights:

The professor never wanted to overwhelm us, which was much appreciated. The lessons she taught us were ones that were actually useful. Such as how to do scholarly research and correctly annotate papers for useful information. Annotating has always greatly helped me and I am glad how much it was incorporated into the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you have to do is the assigned work and discuss it. It was a very heavily based class in terms of discussion.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy Introduction course, normal work load, nothing more than I did in high school. Shannon is very easy going and makes the course easy to get through. Simple freshman course, easier than the classes I took in high school.

    Course highlights:

Highlights: class discussions on readings, constant hints and reminders of upcoming deadlines, and its nice to have a rough draft deadline before our final draft. Makes the workload easier.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The assignments given are not as hard as you think they are. Shannon gives you the resouces to do well and succeed, so use them. There is always time to do the assignment, don't wait!
