    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am a biology student at the University of Maine and plan on going on into the medical field after my undergraduate degree to be a physician assistant. Medical terminology is very important for this career. I decided to take this one credit class this summer because I didn't think it would be a heavy load for myself, while working 40+ hours every week. I was able to study a few nights a week by looking over the provided material online.

    Course highlights:

There were 25 quizzes that needed to be completed by the end of the term. There were 3 sets of deadlines for the quizzes. Once you finished the last quiz you were done with the course. I thought this was nice because you were able to decide when you were done with the class or not. I learned medical terms for all of the different body systems, diseases, medical equipment, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I did not get the book for the class, but still ended up with an A in the class. I'm sure I would have done better if I had the book but I really think it depends on the person.
