    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

One of my favorite classes at the university was an introduction to business, because of its importance and relevance to my hopeful career field. The class was interesting, as it provided insight into the fundamental workings of the relationships between consumers and businesses, and it showed the interconnectedness of all aspects in a growing global economy. This class was mentally engaging, as it combined aspects of economics, accounting, personal finance, and even psychology, among others. The class was relevant to everyone, as businesses provide jobs and wages, essentials we depend on, and our national infrastructure.

    Course highlights:

This class provided me much important information, which will be utilized when I enter the professional workforce, regardless of my occupation. Broadly, this class enhanced my understanding of our titanic labor market, emphasized presentational and teamwork capabilities, and will help me become a better national and global citizen.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the lectures, take notes during the lectures, and do the textbook readings before class. Show up on time, participate in discussions, and be mentally engaged.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor did an amazing job explaining the basic ins and outs of the business world as well as showed videos, delegated projects, and forced us to conduct presentations. One of the best courses I have taken at college so far.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the basics of legal issues in the business world with quid pro quo's and hostile takeovers included. We also had to conduct a mock Shark Tank presentation that was a semester long project of researching and presenting.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You will pass this class if you attend every class, complete every homework, and do the many extra credit opportunities. The professor is very keen on getting freshman to participate in different things around campus and will even give you extra points for joining clubs not pertaining to business.
