Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was such a great course. The teacher has been very helpful. The text book is full of fascinating information. I love philosophical thinking and this is what the entire class consisted of. It was an amazing experience.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a persuasive philosophical essay. Take a pass or fail course without stress. Talked with people I wouldn't have ever talked with. Most importantly I thought outside of the box.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and annotate. Annotating at textbook is key, especially in this class. It really helps you with the assignment. You really gain knowledge from annotating.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wish I had known what this class would focus on before I'd taken it. I had taken English Comp 1 and thought that it would be more of the same, going through a variety of different writing types. Instead, this course focuses solely on Argumentative Essays. You learn about the different types of essays and how they're structured, which isn't what I expected.

    Course highlights:

The only real highlight is the weekly discussions and the creative assignment at the beginning of the class. I learned a lot about how arguments are set up, however, and the different types of arguments as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write, and write often.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class overall was redundant, there were good intentions but it was a reiteration of what was learned in high school with extra writing assignments that were not necessary to the course.

    Course highlights:

This class was nice because it made me more confident in my writing level and I knew I would be okay when it came to writing essays.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your reading and keep up with the writing assignments.
