Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it can truly open your eyes to the world around us, and why people do the things we do. Also, that how we view things such as marriage, family, etc are not products of our own minds, but of the society in which we live in.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be when we talked about Macdonaldization, and other topics related to human behavior at a macro, as well as micro, level. WIth learning about these topics one can have a better understand of not only the country in which they live in, but the world as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study for the open book quizzes. It may be easy to not study because you have the information right in front of you, but if you don't at least know here everything is within the book, it can cause a lot of problems. This is because if you don't do this, you may take up most of the test time looking for the material instead of actually using it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a good course, very informative and interesting. Professor Eichel is a good professor with a voice that keeps students engaged in the information being presented.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in SOC 101 regarding human communication and about many theories of thought and interaction ranging from young children to adults.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the extra journals ahead of time- it will help drastically with time management in this course. Take notes with the slideshows and just pay attention. It's really not a hard course- I got an A.
