    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Caron is such a great professor and you can learn so much from taking her classes!

    Course highlights:

I loved the couple assignments, and the TA's. The couple assignments were fun to do and you learned something new each week, and the TA's were always in such a good mood during lecture and were always so much fun to interact with.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be determined and do the chapter quizzes as soon as possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to any students, especially freshmen in college. Although it is a big class, Dr. Caron really interacts with the class and uses different teaching styles everyday to help everyone learn in their own way.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot from taking this course. Dr. Caron uses teaching assistants to help her in the class and always has fun activities for them to do for us. I learned a lot about family issues such as adoption, or domestic violence. This course also made me want to become a family attorney.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every class and pay attention. I learned that sitting in the first row in class caused me to be more involved and less distracted.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is more than learning about the "interactions of families" but rather focuses on a multitude of cultural aspects that play a role in relationships, sex, marriage, families, and various other facets.

    Course highlights:

This course is not just boring lectures by the same professor over and over. Dr. Caron invites guest speakers for more than half of her classes. She often makes her lessons comical and interactive by inviting students to participate in silly activities. I learned a lot about how the macro level idea of culture has an effect on how children are raised into adulthood.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The quizzes are the most difficult part of the course. Take good notes on every chapter and be confident in your knowledge on the material before taking the quizzes.
