Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bernhardt is one of the best Physics professors. I had originally signed up for the course in the first semester with another professor. That professor, however, had made things complicated and difficult to understand. Bernhardt was much better. I had a tutor because I was still nervous that I would run into the same problem as the first professor. I ended the semester with and A- in the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about basic physics as well as more complicated concepts. A lot had to to with energy later on in the course, which ended up being one of my favorite topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely start the homework earlier and do it gradually throughout the week. Assignments are due on Friday's and it's much better to do the homework over time that way you aren't compacting it all into the night before. It makes the course easier to understand by practicing those problems, because sometimes he puts similar questions on tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Burnhardt is a great teacher that makes learning physics seem simple.

    Course highlights:

I like how Dr. Burnhardt connected the topics we were learning which enabled me to make connections with the problem solving methods. I learned how to calculate different forces and the effects they have on their environments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework early so that you can ask questions in class if needed! Ask questions when needed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor rather than teaching material spends most of the lecture reviewing that there are equations that you should use to solve the problems, but does not elaborate enough to a point of confidence of where you can solve the problems.

    Course highlights:

I did not learn much as I had taken a physics course in the past, and I strongly recommend you do before taking this one as it is difficult.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this course, there is another one offered by George Bernhardt.
