    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course (especially for those required to take it) because it's definitely a different style of teaching. A lot of students didn't feel comfortable with his teaching at first, myself being one of those people. An example being he assigns reading and gives homework questions for you to submit by the night before lecture. Then the next lecture, he would spend our lecture time focusing on subjects that people had trouble with and only briefly touched on subjects students seemed to understand. He also highly stressed coming into office hours if only a few students didn't get the material. So his style of teaching was really beneficial for the masses.

    Course highlights:

I didn't understand physics in high school. Like, at all. I would be talking with my teacher after school every day and it just didn't click. With this class, I understood mostly everything about physics. I learned about the typical forces, acceleration, working out word problems, and then also getting to work with the objectives in a lab setting. I was really just excited that I understood physics!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings! Do the homeworks! And SHOW UP TO CLASS. Showing up to class to listen to Professor Len and his explanations on things helped a lot. He was also great at giving you practical problems and practicing your knowledge in class with individual quizzes and group quizzes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Patrick Len makes it easy to get good grades in his class. He gives a lot of practice problems and extra guidance to help each student understand the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned that physics is a part of everything in our world. For example, every time I go into an elevator now, I can imagine the weight force and tension force of the cable holding the elevator. Physics is relative to many different aspects and can be used in almost every situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the practice problems and keep up with the material! Go over all online presentations and don't be afraid to get help outside of the classroom. Having study buddies helps as well!
