    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is so much fun and interesting to learn. Yes, its a lot of material to know but the subject and the experiments you get to so are the fun part. Having study groups and partners in this class are key things to have if you want to achieve a high grade in this course.

    Course highlights:

this course taught me the basics of human anatomy where i learned about histology, skeletal muscles, and more! During the semester we were able to perform dissections where we we're able to apply what we learned in lecture to something right in front of our eyes. For example, finding a certain muscle on the leg is completely different in a book than on an animal in real life. It gives you the chance to have a real life perspective on the topic.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course it is essential to make good study partners that have the same goals you have and find people who are going to push you to reach your goals. Also if you are taking this course make sure that this course is of the highest priority because this course has so much information to cover in such a short amount of time it is essential to manage your time very wisely. MAKE STUDY CARDS! Study cards are one of the best way to prepare for this course! but be sure to not put too much information on your study cards, only put the main details. Don't miss any classes, it is key to be at every lecture and lab for this course. if you miss one day of lecture then you basically missed a whole week because of all the information that gets covered in one day of lecture and for this course you do not want to get behind. My last tip for this course is to record your lectures ! as long as your professor is okay with it, recording your lectures are very helpful. if you miss some information you always have access to go back a review the information you missed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to health science majors or anyone who is interested in learning more about the human body structure. It is a very interesting class and if you want to continue to expand your knowledge you move on the next course which is physiology learning about the functions of the body.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of the structure of the human body and the locations of the body. It teaches towards a variety of the human body including the nervous system, muscles, organs and so on. Learning about the muscles was very interesting because I was able to apply to my daily life when exercising and lifting weights and it was beneficial. It is a very interesting class and it has laboratory hours to attend and that is where you get into more detail of learning the anatomy portion of the class which was the part that interested me the most because I like learning hands on.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must put a good amount of study hours throughout the week. That is very important because no student should leave the studying last minute, which will not benefit to retaining the information. If you leave it last minute, the student is just cramming information but will they retain it, most likely not. If a student studies small portions every day it will be much easier than trying to cram in one day and you will retain the information. Trying to grasp the information and understand it, is the best way because memorizing will not help you understand the material.
