Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was so much fun and allowed me to conquer my fears of public speaking and argumentative writing. Robertson always kept the class very intrigued and on their feet.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about team work and participation. The professor allowed us to essentially take over the class which allowed us all to learn how to communicate and compromise with others. I also learned plenty about my speech and writing skills and how to take a persuasive stance on any given topic.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the readings and also participation in class is the key!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you do not like standing in front of the class and speaking. Professor Brydges really makes it easy for you to do so and is willing to help as much as he can.

    Course highlights:

By the end of the semester I would be able to stand in front of a crowed a talk without shaking, stuttering, hesitating on what to say. Taught me to make eye contact, take pauses in between important details, and to just be confident.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters before you cover them in class. Take notes on what he is lecturing on. Also a good thing to do is study how teachers talk to their class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I was DREADING this class, because I hate public speaking. I took a 9-week class with Mrs. Lenoir and am so glad that I did. She is super cute! She's really sweet and by far my favorite teacher ever. Only 2 major and 3 minor speeches and a group presentation at the end. She made me feel so comfortable giving the speeches and I got an A! LOVE HER!

    Course highlights:

Get over my fears of public speaking and try to focus on pronunciation since English is my second language.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to practice in front the mirror and do not read from the notes while doing a presentation.
