Course Overview:
It was an extremely well taught class, my teacher Susan Paxton incorporated games, humor, and overall kindness in helping us understand tough concepts. It is also a great class for preparing someone for higher math classes like pre-calculus, and calculus.
Course highlights:
The highlights of this course were definitely the test review games we would play before tests, and also the in-class lectures. I learned concepts like functions, graphing functions, standard form, slope form and many more concepts. It was a wonderful class.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Definitely use tutors if you are having trouble understanding concepts. Take advantage of the teachers office hours. Make study groups with people who have the same goals as you, and put in the effort and you will get back the grades you deserve.
Pretty easy, overall.
