    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a difficult subject, but professor Guo does a good job explaining everything. She is by far the best chemistry teacher I've had. I'm even taking her for 151 too!

    Course highlights:

I gained a much greater understanding of chemistry which helped me to move on to the higher level chemistry course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework! It boosted my grade by about 10%

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ung is very smart and does a great job in lectures. Language barrier is not hard to get through at all, as compared to other instructors. She is there to help, if you ask, but she won't do your homework for you. As compared to other CHM130 instructors, Dr. Ung is the one to take if you arrange it! Keep up with Online Chemistry Homework. If you do it at least once or twice a week, you won't have any problems with getting them in before they are due.

    Course highlights:

I was upset that CGCC had a pre-req of this Chem class, CHM130, instead of going right into CHM151, but after taking this class, it really is a good thing because there is a lot to know.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with Online homework. Only takes once or twice a week and you should have all the assignments due on time. Take notes and study a little bit throughout the week, this course, or Chemistry in general, takes some studying. She allows you to bring an index card (cheat sheet) with you to the exams, except for the final, so write small and use front and back!
