    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, specifically with this professor, because it's engaging. While the material he teaches is difficult, he teaches in a way that makes you understand everything in a new light. Don challenges his students, and has a lot of experience in the criminal justice field.

    Course highlights:

The thing that I learned in this course that stood out to me the most is that any situation has pros and cons regarding issues in the criminal justice field. Don makes you look at problems from multiple points of view, and it puts many issues in this field into a new perspective. (i.e. gun control, police brutality, private prisons, etc.)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study, study, study. This is not one of those classes that you can get through by sleeping through lectures, and not opening your book. The instructor provides you with the tools to be successful, but you need to put in the effort.
