Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is an excellent course that is fun and easy to follow along. It gives you a chance to model out characters or objects you only imagine. The program is intimidating at first but once you get it down you do not want to stop. After your objects are built you can render them out in beautiful pictures.

    Course highlights:

The highlight in the course was learning to render out an image using special lighting to give a very detailed realistic effect of the natural daylight in Maya 3D. With this you can change so many settings from the sun color, location, time of day, size, and so much more. You could even choose how detailed you wanted each shadow on objects and what color the shadow was. Just talking about this makes me want to get back on the program.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

For students just entering this course I would tell them not to be intimidated. No matter how hard it seems you will eventually get the hang of it, stay positive. There were many times when I wanted to give up but there is always tutoring or simply asking the professor to come and help out. Definitely do not be afraid to ask for help. That is what the professors are there for.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you the basic introduction into 3d modeling objects and by the end you get to create a scene of your choice ! you also get very informative lectures and tips/ shortcuts that can help benefit you .He is really nice to and won`t mind going over something again .

    Course highlights:

What i personally gained from this course is that you should be patient and take notes as much as you can to learn more about basic modeling . also the video instructions shown in class can be found on you tube if you ever need to go back to something you miss or do not understand. for example he showed me shortcuts keys to help me move along faster and not spend five hours modeling something that only takes him an hour . by the end i found myself modeling at a faster speed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You to come in with a creative mindset as he is going to expect creativity and that you are following along with his lectures . He will give a final where you have to take a scene of your choice as long as its not already 3d and model it. there are no pop quizzes and most days in class are just work periods . still would help to know the tools in the program (Maya) and shortcut keys .

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because if your into 3D and have no knowledge or have very little this course will help get you to where your going. And if you are going to be taking this course, I recommend downloading a 3D software and start watching tutorials before hand.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learn the basic fundamentals of how to work in 3D. From creating basic shapes to adding in its color in order to move up on making scenes or complete object designs. And you will learn that the simplest route is the way to go.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This Is just the beginning of 3D, so you better be ready and focused to help guide your way to making the professional stuff.
