    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An introduction to the basic themes and concepts of modern biology spanning organizational levels from organisms to ecosystems in an evolutionary context.

    Course highlights:

Boag's section (evolution) was my favorite. His lectures were clear and concise and the material presented was very fascinating. The exam was err... okay. Walker's section was full of anecdotes and application questions. Boag's section was more manageable. I eneded up with a 73% which is the class average.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Virginia Walker teaches immunology. I'm telling you this now: Listen to every little thing she says. Because she puts those on the exam. Go to all the lectures, rewatch the lectures, and read your textbook like it's your job. Overall, she's a very nice lady and likes to help students if they go to her for help.
