    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has a great focus linear algebra, intended for students who are interested in mathematics. Although there will be a significant amount of computation, a great part of the course is emphasized on understanding the ideas, what they mean, and how we know what we know about them (such as many proofs)

    Course highlights:

There was an emphasis on learning how to think mathematically, and the process of exploring our initially understanding of a new concept and refining it into clear, concise arguments. Overall, we got an understanding of ideas as completely and throughly as possible.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are twelve homework assignments each term. These are great opportunities to get some easy marks. Always do the daily homework, even though it is optional as that is what the tests are based on.
