This is a hard credit course. It is offered jointly by the Departments of Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology and Immunology, usually in the winter term
It focuses on molecular mechanisms of gene expression, biochemistry of nucleic acids, chromatin structure, DNA replication, RNA transcription, processing and translation in prokaryotic, eukaryotic and viral systems.

Very similar to BIOL 205, make sure to have a good foundation of the concepts in BIOL 205. Do all the readings and practise.
