    Course Overview:

    This course is designed to change your perception of the foods you are eating and how it chemically though eating healthy and by taking regular supplements of vitamins and minerals can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

    Course highlights:

    Having a daily food log is very helpful in regards to counting calories and keeping track of what you have eaten. There is also a website that shows you how to break down your caloric intake to lose weight and keep fit with exercise as well. It taught me to also make meal plans and grocery list so that you only buy what your eating and cooking daily/weekly.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    To have an open mind to your diet and exercise plan. You may be a person who doesn't need to lose weight but you may need to change your eating habits. Like for instance did you know that the human body need to eat up to 25-30 grams of fiber per day? This was one of the things we learned in this phenomenal class!

    It was a great chance to learn and evaluate your own health and life style without criticism.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a great way to get myself back to a healthy weight with a healthy diet without having to cut out all my favorite things.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Just pay attention, there are no wrong answers so long as you pay attention to the materials.
