It is an interesting course, a foundation course of sorts into the study of government and it's functions and attributes.
This course examines issues such as power and power distribution, political culture, political socialization, governance and the Caribbean "party politics" systems as well as the multi media impact on politics (etc.)

Advice for students:
This course has a lot of material to cover, be prepared to study. The lectures are interesting though, and the material is provided. Failure however wholly depends on the student's preparation. Personally, I regret not putting in as much work as I should have for this course.
