    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Many of us leave high school with distinction in English language thinking that we are well equipt with vocabulary, expressions, grammar, writing skillls and the list goes on. I had the same mind set when i started this course it really changed my thinking. Critical Reading and Writing is designed for students to have a full overview to analyse critical text and situations and to engage in intelligent oral and Writing discussions relevant to society in building up their understanding of the larger linguistic concept of their community. I highly recommend this course because it really help students to think logically and to grasp relevant concepts wich includes appropriate vocabulary, tone, voice and level of formality. Thanks to ky lecturer, tutor and the university of the west Indies for introducing this course of study.

    Course highlights:

Personally i gain the girt of critically thinking and analysing situations. I developed the art of integrating my own ideas with other sources of information. I really appreciate learning language strategies in producing lingustically focused discussions both oral and written.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed at this course one must do all the readingd suggester by tutor and lecturer. Additional research is necessary to gather information about the writing who produces the pieces that you read so that you can better analyse their perception. Consultation is important to ensure that you are on the same tract as your tutor. Do all assignments online because failure yo do so will incure penalties that are not desirable.
