Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives students a deeper look into the English language. This gives them more knowledge in writing papers and doing research. The student will definitely walk away with more education on the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were writing about events going on in our community like homelessness or rape lots of very intense subjects that were a little difficult to write about. I learned how to dig deep and do research on what I'm writing about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course! It will give you better knowledge on how to write papers and do research for different subjects.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Throughout the semester, Dr. Mark Brumley has been extremely helpful. He also gave us plenty of time to complete the assignments, and I never felt like he was creating unrealistic deadlines. Dr. Brumley was also very understanding throughout the course. It was an honor to have him as a professor, as I learned many new techniques for writing argumentative essays. I believe that I will be able to apply the knowledge that I obtained in this class to many other classes in my future, as well as my future outside of school.

    Course highlights:

The overall highlights of this course were learning about the different types of argumentative essays, and then applying that knowledge to my own papers. After writing each of my essays, I was required to participate in an online tutoring session. These sessions helped me learn many knew writing techniques. I was also able to learn about many grammar rules.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course has the potential to be very difficult, if you do not prepare yourself. You must stay on top of the assignments and when they are due. As far as tests and quizzes go, it is important to read the assigned readings in the text book, as they will help you when taking the tests/quizzes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was intriguing and very educational, as it should be. I enjoyed it and it was nice because it wasn't too difficult, but not overly easy as well.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed talking about/writing a paper about an author and the relationship the author's environment had on his/her works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not postpone doing your work until the last second. Sometimes the Professor takes a while to respond and you don't want to be stuck with questions on the day it's due.
