    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in a Human Resources or Accounting position in their career. Professor Swisher does a wonderful job explaining each chapter throughout the term and is very quick to respond to emails when you have any sort of question regarding the material.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me all the ins and outs of the payroll process. From how to properly calculate each tax to learning what each tax exemption claim does to a paycheck, it teaches you every single aspect of the payroll process.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you will want to make sure you spend an appropriate amount of time each week reviewing the material and making sure you fully understand it all. For some classes at Kaplan, I would say being apart of the live seminar isn't necessary. However, for this course I will 100% recommend attending the live seminar because you will have a lot of questions and they can be answered right then and there rather than having to wait for a response to an email. I would also recommend making sure you keep on top of the homework assignments and do the extra exercises provided in your course book. They helped me significantly throughout this course, especially when I did not understand something.
