Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you need an elective and are passionate about people and the issues that need the most attention in our country, take this class. If you are a human services or social services major you probably have to take this course but I hope you enjoy it. It was one of the most moving courses I've taken in the Human Services Program and the material is raw, current and unbiased like much of the information received in the media. Super informative and life-changing.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the working poor class and the outrageous number of families and small children that are going without food and basic needs. You also gain a better understanding of the vicious cycle these populations are stuck in because of the communities they grow up in, the quality of education they have available, the quality of a childhood they get brought up in and the outside factors that promise a better living but chance life threatening consequences.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch the videos, download the books into the bookshelf app, take notes in seminar. Dr. Bradley is an amazing Prof if you get her.
