Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great learning environment. Professor Thompson is a working Nurse Practitioner so her insight in the field is excellent, real life.

    Course highlights:

I really learned a lot about the role of the Advanced Practitioner and the other roles that they work closely with. Our class had 28 students, so not too many to have a great learning experience. The online program, Brightspace, is easy to work in and submit assignments. The syllabus is easy to read and follow, objectives for each week were very clear.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a great introduction into advanced practice nursing. I was pleasantly surprised that I could easily transition from a Bachelor program to a Masters program. Kaplan made it easy to get started so it eliminated any anxiety that I was having.
