    Course Overview:

    For future healthcare administrators, this is a great class to understand the principles of leading people while developing growth strategies for the healthcare system. In management in healthcare, there are challenges that administrators will face. Understanding how to lead people to grow is essential to success. This course prepares students for this future.

    Course highlights:

    Leading people is an essential part of healthcare administration, with the knowledge in how to motivate and communicate effectively. Learning how to lead others effectively was a highlight of this course. This is done by motivating staff and building effective teams by communicating vision and purpose in the work culture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention to your fellow students impressions on leading others. Within the discussion board posts, students have the ability to discussion the weeks topics. In these discussion boards, it is helpful to read others points of view on the subject to learn how to better lead people.
