    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the information provided in this course is actually useful and insightful. Even though you may not use the information on a daily bases, you may need to know the information related to this course one day..

    Course highlights:

A learned that even though I may think a course is hard all it takes is a little more work and you can get a good grade. Statistics is a great topic and the information is useful in today's world. Applies knowledge to the real world. Overall great course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Doing the reading requirements, don't be afraid to ask questions from your professor or classmates, show completed work and attend the live seminars the professor will go over important information each week and if you cannot make it to seminar listen to the archived.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a vital form of information. Making and reading graphs and data charts are an important element to any career or profession.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to effectively create and use graphs with various information that was given during research.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to take advantage of the schools resources, there are people out there who are willing to help and do not be to prideful to ask the professor for more clarity on something that you did not understand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Statistics is a very useful skill set to have because it applies to everyday life, it helps you to understand our world better. Statistics are used to determine so many of the things at we use and buy as well as other areas like medicine and health.

    Course highlights:

I learned how the information that is reported to me on the news or in newspapers uses to statistics to determine what a very large population are likely to do by using a small sample of that population. This might not sound like a huge deal but most of what we know about how the world actually works is very small and statistics helped me to relate to my world .

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I got an A in this class and the most important thing I did to achieve this was to write out all the homework assignments step by step. THis helped me when it was time to take quizzes and it also helped with other assignments having the steps to look back on. Statistics is a very involved subject and doing it online is even harder so that would be my one solid piece of advice...write all problems out step-by-step.
