    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There is a lot to digest in this course, but it is good information if you are planning a career in accounting. I would advise students to form a study group or at least find a study buddy. I started a Facebook study group and it was greatly beneficial when someone got stuck.

    Course highlights:

The Wiley assignments were the areas that tested me the most as well as teaching me the most. Use all the study guides before attempting the problems. I ended up buying the book at a discounted rate off of Amazon just because I found it easier than using the ebook. Professor Bootsma does give you examples at the end of his seminar PowerPoints that are a great help in doing the Wiley problems.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure accounting is the field you want to go into. It is a tough course and takes a lot of discipline at time.
