    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is a very hard course and will be difficult if you have no background in it, but overall it is a fun class that requires a lot of time and dedication.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of the course would definitely be the lab sessions as they are very fun and interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the textbook before class, take good notes in class and go over you notes after class. Do not cram for exams the day before.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Biology is an important subject; this course is taught by an enthusiastic teacher who knows exactly what he's talking about and loves what he does.

    Course highlights:

    In BI 140, you'll learn about the cell and its functions, as well as cellular respiration and photosynthesis.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study hard. Read over and/or copy your notes after every lecture, and study over weekends even if there's not a test coming up. Start studying for midterms and finals at least a week beforehand.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The course was very interesting and covered many of the basics of the subject.

    Course highlights:

    Topics taught in the course included cell biology, basic biochemistry, genetics, and evolution.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    For the first half, spend time reading and studying the material. For the second half, take detailed notes during lectures and study those.
