    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I believe having the knowledge from this class opens a variety of doors for ones future. On the other hand it is a very rigorous course so you must really be devoted to your studies.

    Course highlights:

I learned much about the human body on a cell level.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, high light or find ways to make connecting concepts easier for you. Study daily, do not save it all until the day before an exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The plant section of this course really pushes you to grow your knowledge. While we don't think plants are as interesting as animals because we can't relate to them as well, Dr. Chaney will show you the amazing diversity of life on this planet that you may never have heard about before. It's a tough course. She will push you to become the best student you can be.

    Course highlights:

I learned how complicated and fascinating fungi and protists are, as well as the crazy amount of diversity that the plant kingdom has! It's easy to look past them as all being the same, but there's so much to learn.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure to take the course before the animal section. Read the book, read and re-write your notes each day, and ask Dr. Chaney if you don't understand. Don't get behind.
