    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material in the course was very interesting and provides foundational knowledge about various types of organisms.

    Course highlights:

Students learn basic information about fungi, protists, plants, and animals and how the lifestyles of these organisms are adapted to different environments and conditions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

For the plant section it's important to read the material from the textbook as well as knowing material from lectures and labs. For the animal section you mainly need to study the lecture notes. Taking pictures of displays in labs is useful for studying for lab exams.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a necessary course for most majors, but the plant section of the course is kind of ridiculus on structure and how much information must be learned.

    Course highlights:

Highlights is animal with set lectures and more help in the animal part of lab with explanation.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE CHAPTERS and do the study guides and go to office hours

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I believe having the knowledge from this class opens a variety of doors for ones future. On the other hand it is a very rigorous course so you must really be devoted to your studies.

    Course highlights:

I learned much about the human body on a cell level.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, high light or find ways to make connecting concepts easier for you. Study daily, do not save it all until the day before an exam.
