Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think that the course not only gave the statistics knowledge, but the professor helped to prepare students for the professional world. We also were able to work together to apply what we had learned in everyday class life.

    Course highlights:

We learned about basic statistics. Hypothesis testing, probability, confidence intervals. Mostly we learned how to apply the formulas to everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Understand the book. It will help you with the online homework. Mostly ask questions. Dr. Gady is there to help you inside and outside of class time. He wants to see you succeed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This wasn't a difficult course in theory, but the professor did not teach very well. His lectures contained only information directly from the textbook, and he did not answer questions in a helpful way at all. I struggled a lot with this course, and I'm not even bad at math normally.

    Course highlights:

I learned that my school has a math study lab five times a week that is open to all math students. I used this a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to math lab. Do all the homework. Do not be tempted to take answers from the back of the book, because you will get behind eventually. Also, don't buy the access code. With Dr. Bishop, you don't need it.
