Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a overarching look into all aspects of psychology. We were able to learn about the different areas of the field and how each of them impacted different parts of society. I never knew how many different paths there were to take in that field. Because psychology is a passion of mine I enjoyed every day of that class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different careers within the field of psychology that align with so many of the passions I have. Psychology is not specific to counseling but it can be applicable to all areas of life such as communication.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Because it is an intro course I would say that it is a pretty fast paced class that does't really go deep into any psychology topic in particular so it is important to stay on top of your work load but it is worth it because you get the chance to see all different areas of that field.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes I would recommend it. I am a Community Health major and last semester I was thinking about a Psych minor. This class helped me decide to do this while also fulfilling a gen ed.

    Course highlights:

I absolutely loved this course. Specifically I loved when we talked about the specific disorders. We even discussed how we see this in film and got the opportunity to write about them on our own. I also really enjoyed the sleep and dream section.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say just to come to class often and to participate in class as Professor Rogers is very into class discussion and you will get the best out of this course if you do this.
