    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is required for almost every single stem major and for higher level classes, gives the basics for future science classes that you must take later in your college career

    Course highlights:

the practice tests look exactly like the actual tests just different numbers and offers a bonus question, teacher was very lax with due dates, and all the homework was through sampling and allowed unlimited attempts on answers(because it is up to the teacher)

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

go to all study sessions and find practice videos, problems, and work online, look and memorize all equations they are need to know, go over the practice test multiple times in advance to be well prepared on the test. Come to class on time because the quizzes start exactly at the class start time and he does not wait. If you miss a question you'll miss a question. Also attend classes because participation is graded

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Requirement for many courses, teacher does not really teach the course effectively and the tests are really hard. Does provide study guides that are extremely similar to tests and provides extra credit. Most homework is online through sapling.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would be the precise study guides and extra credit he provides. He is really lax about paper due dates and must be on time for class because of multiple quizzes and they start exactly at class start time.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class on time to not miss the quizzes. Attend the classes because he has breakout questions randomly that are worth points. Look at the example study guides and tests in advance and memorize the formulas.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a requirement to take this as a chem major. However, note that Dr. Keeling no longer teaches at Whitworth. All of the current professors are great replacements however.

    Course highlights:

Lab was one of the most exciting parts of the class. Definitely make something thoughtful for the brass keyring lab because you'll get to keep that and some people keep that all 4 years.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Relax. It's gen chem. Don't worry so much because it's not worth worrying about as much as you do.
