    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class gives you a better understanding on how things work at a molecular level and how two different elements, molecules, compounds, etc. can affect one another. With lab included, it's also fun!

    Course highlights:

You will learn and memorize several of the elements on the periodic table. You will need to memorize nomenclature, number of atoms, and charges of various ions. You will learn about lewis dot structures, bonding, chemical and physical properties and changes, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up for class, don't be late, study for your quizzes and exams, participate in lab, read your lab procedure before the day of the actual lab to get a good grasp of what you will be doing, and turn your assignments in on time. Depending on how well you grasp chemistry you may need to put more or less time in than I did, and although it might not be fun for some, stick with it, put the time and effort in, and study anyway. You will only be in this class for 16 weeks.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is tough, definitely the hardest class I've ever taken in college. I went into it thinking, "I don't know how I'm going to pass". But this class forced me to really study hard, but I gained so much knowledge from new study habits that helped me in future courses!

    Course highlights:

The best was actually the lecture. The professor I had made chemistry so fun, believe it or not! He was so passionate and really wanted us all to learn, so I actually looked forward to this class. I learned a lot about chemical changes and I finally understand how bonds work and I understand measurements finally!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't ever take this as a blow off class! And do not think you can just "get by". You will need to learn in order to pass. I recommend going to the study centers available and working with other students, that helped me tremendously. And be nice to your lab partners!! They will help you! And never miss a class...you will miss out on a lot!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this professor. This is a very challenging course but he does a great job of explaining.

    Course highlights:

Professor govoni is a great unstructured due to his passion for the subject. Also he loves helping students and answering questions which is a plus!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you must put 2 hours of study for every one hour in the classroom! It's time consuming but worth it
