Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It taught me a lot about biology, and it was all very interesting course work. I personally love science, so I found this class to be very interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about genetic makeup and DNA. I also learned a lot about the human body, taxonomy, and evolution.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You just need to put time into the class every week. Make sure you stay on top of all your assignments, take notes, and if you don't understand something, ASK. That is the most important thing. Or, consult your textbook if you need more clarification!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Griffis is an amazing teacher! He is very thorough with the content and give students a great study guide for exams. Short answers are even known ahead of time. Only topics covered will be on tests and quizzes. He does give extra credit, which is nice when trying to boost up a letter grade. In addition, he makes the course material fun and relatable and memorable. He tends to tell stories about his life but they are relevant. He is super great and I highly recommend this class!

    Course highlights:

I learned that biology can be quite fun and easy. The most covered concepts were plant and animal energy processes, basic chemistry, DNA and MRNA. I also learned that labs could actually be more fun than work because of how interesting they could be when explained well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to speak up if you have any questions and Griffis will go out of the way to make sure you understand it. Practice problems you are not sure about. Use the study guide. Make sure to memorize your responses for short answers especially since he gives them to you in advance.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, its usually a prerequisite for other colleges you would like to transfer too. It was a difficult class for me and unfortunately i had to take it over, my professor was head of the biology department. Its a course that you need to have alot of time for due to how much tedious information you learn. So really any biology course, but this one dealt with cell division and the comparison of human and animal cell cycle.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the weekly labs we did. Physically seeing the cell division take place and the difference in the two. We learned alot but one of the most memorable discussions we've had was about diseases you can develop from within your cells.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course, MANAGE your time wisely, review the notes and the labs, study, study, study because alot of information is thrown at you!
