Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn so much and the classes are really engaging and fun!

    Course highlights:

I gained a much broader perspective of education and the schools role in the larger society. You learn history, politics, and a lot of different theories and ideas about education!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I reccomend doing the readings and starting on all the assignments early.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Allen has really fostered my education and integrated a lot of different ideas into they ways he teaches his class.

    Course highlights:

Really looks into school systems and socially constructed ideas are built into schools and societies.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on the reading and the journals especially, journals are "due" each week but aren't collected until the midterm and then again at the final. But its really easy to fall behind on them and really hard to catch up on them at the last minute.
