    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend because Professor Aguero is a fantastic person and really cares about the students learning. Also, every week you get to watch a really good movie in a wonderful movie theatre with your peers.

    Course highlights:

This is a film studies course and I think the highlights were the movies we watched because out of the fifteen or so, I had only seen one of them before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write essays about movies and I don't recommend buying the book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because you will read and write a lot on film aesthetics. If you don't like lots of homework and reading, do not take this class.

    Course highlights:

You will learn to watch movies "actively", and study every creative decision made to make up a film.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Learn proper MLA writing style.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone in this class. I would definitely recommend it.

    Course highlights:

Through this course I was able to watch films that I would otherwise have never chosen to watch. It opened my eyes to unique film genres and allowed me to discover some new favorite movies.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The best piece of advice I would give would be to students who aren't in Dodge College. Though this course is called an introduction course, I often felt like my professor forgot that there were non-film-major-students in the class.
