    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is not as hard as I had anticipated and Martin makes it even better. Even though I had him at 8 in the morning, he is one of the most entertaining professors I have ever had. He is super willing to help you with anything that you are struggling with and is a super easy grader and gives great feedback. The projects in class allow every type of learner to get a good grade in the class and does everything in his power to help you raise it throughout the year.

    Course highlights:

I learned tons of grammar that I had learned in high school but never really understood, I worked on pronunciation, reading, and writing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and work on the information that you don't understand. Go to class and enjoy the time with Martin because he is so much fun.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because the professor really takes time in class not only to go over any questions anyone has but also goes over the lessons in depth which is very helpful. I feel a lot more comfortable speaking in class than I did before. I'm not as nervous because we speak so often.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to work with my peers especially as a freshman and not knowing anyone. This class is a great transition from high school to college courses because it's manageable but also challenges the students to think and learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you must always have something to say. The class incorporates life and the professor really makes it easy to learn the language. She always asks us simple questions like tell a friend how your weekend went and through that students gain the confidence to speak the language in front of their peers. A few study tips would be not to leave the online workbook as a study session before the tests. Although they are helpful, they should be done a couples of days before the test.
