Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English 101 is required, so it is best to take a professor who can help you especially if you are struggling with writing essays. Prof. Swerdlow is very helpful and cares about her students. She always checks her email and will reply to your message. She has office hours where you can go to for help on the essay assignment.

    Course highlights:

I learn how to use the database to look for reliable sources to use in a research paper. The class is not difficult as long as you ask for help and complete all the assignments on time. There is extra credit that will boost your grade.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask for help if you need any and go to the writing center to let tutors look over your essay. Start researching and working on your paper early so that you are not procrastinating.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this professor because he has an extreme passion for giving back to his community ! He makes students aware of all kinds of sources that will open many doors such as the CCCP program at UCLA.

    Course highlights:

What we learned in ENGLISH 101 was not only the fundamentals of how to structure a essay but to give back to our community and to strive towards higher education.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Centeno was not a easy teacher and that's what makes him unique because he wants you to work hard for the grade you want. Some professors do not care about students due to office hours. Centeno has an open door policy and is always willing to help.
