Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For those who don't have an interest in learning the story and the meaning behind art, this class is not for you. I would only recommend this class because it provides clear historical background on art styles and art pieces throughout history. It is the true definition of bring history to life.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course is actually the midterm paper because we have to visit the Getty Villa which is amazing museum full of rich Greek and Roman art.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One major advice I could give is do not just learn, understand what you're trying to learn first and you will experience a whole new world. Sometimes it may be boring but that's only if you don't care for the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Brown is a good teacher. Her lectures are interesting because she make learning the material fun. Reading the text is not necessary because we are only tested on what is covered in class. I passed the class with an A without even buying the textbook. That saved me a lot of money.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how the material the art/architecture used shows how old the artwork is and how there are different types of art, such as imperial art, religious art, art pertaining to mythology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the writing assignments, come to class everyday, take good notes, study everyday.
