    Pretty easy, overall.

The professor was amazing, she is passionate about her work and cares about the students. She wants each student to pass and assigned unique assignments that involve research so you can retain the knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I learned how politicians strategies to pass a Bill, how the election works ultimately the electoral votes are the ones that matter. I learned who my city congressperson is and how to get a hold of him/her. I also learned about the different cases in history that shaped our democracy to what it is today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention, take notes, fallow class rules, do the assigned work and you will pass with an A no problem.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend to take the course because it helps you be more aware of everything that is going on in our government. The professor makes us engage and encourages you to participate in rallies and ongoing demonstrations. The course helped me become a more critical thinker when it came to politics and want to engage in what is going on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being able to go out and voice my opinion at rallies. I learned that in order to make a difference, we must participate. We must listen and we must pay attention to what is going on. You don't necessarily have to love political science, but trust me, Professor Ortega allows you to find interest.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give to anyone considering taking this course is to actually allow yourself to listen. Allow yourself to engage in topics that pertain to the law and or anything that you're not used to. Don't go into this class thinking "politics are boring."

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher didn't really seemed invested n our class. He was always behind on the syllabus, missed more classes than me and he didn't even show up the day of the final because he wanted to go on vacation early!

    Course highlights:

The colorful language used in the classroom to help move along the lecture is entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to always keep up on the readings and makes notes on the important topics. This professor has a very unstructured class but as long as you take notes and keep consistent in keeping up with the class conversations you will be ok.
