    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Going into this class, I thought it was going to be a nightmare specially taking an evening class on a Monday! But it was a requirement and I thought I will just do my best even if the class is boring. Once having taken the class I was amazed at what Political Science really is. I learn so much and became really interested in politics that I even became a volunteer for the 2016 Election Polls as an extra credit for my class. The Professor was amazing and her class was no boring at all. I got to learn so much which is great because I was able to have discussions with others on the election and most importantly I was able to educate my son on it. I would highly recommend taking Political Science with Prof Holland. She is great and her class is fun and very interesting!

    Course highlights:

Taking this class during an election campaign helped me understand why voting is so important and how it actually works. Which is based on electoral college (electoral votes per state) I also understood how a bill is presented and passed and the different stages that it goes through before it can be approved. I learn about how rights and the amendments and how we have rights as citizens against the government. Professor Holland power points were funny, interesting and her lesson was filled with personal/career experiences which kept the class from being boring. I learn so much and really enjoyed her class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes!!! Her test are based on all her power points and her lectures. Even when she would say we didn't have to write everything down I would because it would help me understand other material that were asked on test. Listen, take good notes, study and highlight important key terms and you'll do great! Do the homework, super easy but very interesting.
